• Guardian: An Orisha, who acts as an intermediary between humans and the gods, guards houses, cities and people, the things that are done and human behavior. He watches over order and justice in all areas of life.
In Yoruba, Èṣù means sphere. He has neither beginning nor end. Exu is the Orisha of communication. Fire is his element and symbolizes transformation, action, desire and purification.
• Omolu: Yoruba and Afro-Brazilian god associated with healing, illness, respect for elders, the earth and death (not physical death, but the death of that which undermines the meaning of life and generation). He works in the silence of the ages to preserve life and guarantee the balance of all creation.
